Who We Are

The East Duchesne Culinary Water Improvement District, established in 1982, is a public water system located in Duchesne, Utah. It provides culinary (drinking) water services to residents and businesses in the eastern part of Duchesne County.  EDCWID is managed by an elected Board of Directors. 

The district is responsible for distributing water to its customers in a safe and reliable manner. They undertake various improvements and maintenance projects to ensure the quality and availability of water to the community. 

 As an improvement district, its primary focus is to enhance the water infrastructure and services in the designated area. This involves managing water storage facilities, distribution networks, and other related infrastructure.  

The East Duchesne Culinary Water Improvement District may also collaborate with local authorities, water agencies, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with water quality standards and regulations.
